Hi! Welcome!
Hello, I'm Sophie. Thank you for visiting the website and for your interest in my classes. I'm really looking forward to you getting started and I hope this page helps you take the first step on your Pilates journey with me.

FAQ
What class should I attend?
All the classes on the timetable both online and in-person are designed to be suitable for all ages and abilities. You do not need any prior experience to start. However, each class offers something different. Take a look at the description of each class here and if you have any questions don't hesitate to get in touch with Sophie.
Do I need any previous experience?
No! My job is to teach you everything you need to know. So don't let the fact that you haven't done Pilates before put you off coming along to any of the classes.
What do I need to take part in an in-person class?
It is advisable to bring your own mat, however if you don't have your own yet I always have a handful of spares. If you are attending Power Pilates don't forget to wear a pair of trainers. Bring a bottle of water.
What do I need to take part in a virtual class?
I have made it as easy as possible to take part in an online class.
If you are taking part in a live Zoom class head to the Zoom Classes page for instructions on how to join.
If you have subscribed to Virtual Pilates Hub all you need to do is use your personal login and head to the Members Area.
Before you start an online class make sure you have cleared your space of any hazards and obstacles.
I have included some tips and tricks on the Zoom Classes page for improving your sound and visual experience.
Do I need to book in to a class?
Yes! The pay as you go classes need booking and paying for in advance via this website.
To book into one of these classes visit the Book Your Class page
Do I need a membership?
You only need a membership for Virtual Pilates Hub.
To attend an in-person class or the live Saturday morning Zoom classes you do not need a membership. Just book in here and pay as you go.
How do I decide if I want to take part virtually or in-person?
Virtual Pilates Hub members always have classes on demand to do any time, anywhere. This is ideal for those with busy lives who struggle to make it to a weekly scheduled class. I take a lot of time and care in ensuring you get the best possible home workout experience so you don't miss out on the live/studio experience and you always have direct access to me for help and advice.
In-person classes might be more suited to those who struggle with self motivation or for those looking for a more sociable experience.
What if I have an injury?
You can still, of course attend a Pilates class if you have an injury, as long as you have the go ahead from your doctor or physio.
Pilates can be an effective way to rehab injuries and aches and pains.
Always add your injuries to the screening form when booking in for the first time and talk to Sophie about this either in-person or via email when attending your first class.
